Group 2 : Inkheart 12/14/14
What problems/challenges do the characters face?
Are conflicts neatly resolved or are they left undecided?
What choices do the main characters face?
How do their decisions affect their own lives and the lives of the other characters?
Why does a character make a particular choice?
To keep the discussion going continue to respond to your group members' responses/comments and share work from your Book Club Notes worksheet session #6.
One problem is, that they can't find another copy of Inkheart because Capricorn has the last one that he didn't burn.
ReplyDeleteWell unless they made a copy of the one left
DeleteNo they probably didn't make an extra copy they just have the one book.
DeleteI wouldn't burn it either.
ReplyDeleteI think one of Maggie's problems for herself is not knowing things going on around her.
ReplyDeleteAnd that she is captured by Capricorn
DeleteMaggie figures out a lot of stuff because she is smart but she has not figured out everything yet.
ReplyDeleteI think Mo's decisions affect Maggie the most.
ReplyDeleteI agree because whenever he goes off to find something Meggie suddenly becomes undisciplined.
DeleteI think Mo didn't tell Maggie things because he thought it is for her own good.
ReplyDeleteBut it also hurt her because she was confused and felt like she couldnt trust anyone
DeleteWhat do you guys think a good summary of what has happened so far is?
ReplyDeleteI don't know there's a lot of information to take in and remember.
DeleteMeggie has the problem that she is captured by Capricorn and she doesnt want Mo to come rescue her
ReplyDeleteMost conflicts are still going on
ReplyDeleteMo has the choice to go and save Meggie or not to
ReplyDeleteMo's decision will decide if he is killed by capricorn
ReplyDeleteMeggie's main problem is Capricorn capturing her and it will probably be resolved by them escaping.
ReplyDeleteu guys said the same thing like 50000000000 times!
ReplyDeleteI agree mostly with Noah.
